October has been a very busy month. So my blogging has taken a back seat. Here is a quick update on some of October Festivities. Ryan and I got season tickets to Iowa this year. It has been a lot of fun. One of the games we went to was the Northwestern vs Iowa game. This year it was a 6pm and the marketing department at Iowa decided to do some fun things. First of all it was a black and gold game. So depending on what section you were sitting in, you had to wear the appropriate color. The next think was 2 card stunts. First was during the national anthem and the second was black and gold one side said go hawks the other side said we need farmers (I think). If you are bored, here is a short video of some of the card stunt:

Since Ryan and I have been going to Iowa Football games, Braydon has been spending some quality time with his Grandparents. We even got him in the combine with Grandma Pat one Sunday afternoon. It was pretty cute. It was actually nap time, so we were worried Braydon's attention span might not be there, but we loved it. He would watch the corn come in and dump out. He almost even fell asleep!

Braydon is getting better at following directions. He was trying to get outside one day and I said, wait you have to put your shoes on. When I went to get his shoes in his room, he had found a different pair to wear.

A quick stop at the Williamsburg outlet Mall would not be complete without a ride next to Mickey.

As most of you know, Braydon is not exactly a fish. We have had fears of taking a bath and getting into his kiddie pool. We have recovered from both of those, but we hadn't tried him in a bed pool since our attempt in Tahoe over a year ago. Well with Tyson, Charlie, and Joel close by we thought it might be worth a shot. Of course Tyson and Charlie jumped right in. Braydon walked into the pool with me and was content to sit in a chair and watch. I asked him if he wanted to put his swim trunks on and he politely said "no". He had a great time watching Tyson jump in the water and Charlie splash around. I asked him a few more times and he said no. Then finally I asked him about 15 minutes later and he said "yes". So I hurried and put his swim trunks on. He took his first step in, but was not ready to go in completely yet. Finally Uncle Joel got him and took him for a lap, he still wasn't quite sure, but the by the second time he was loving it!
