soccer...yes soccer!

Yes, you read that right, Braydon played soccer this summer.  When we would go for walks around the neighborhood, we would see a few different soccer leagues going on. Braydon asked multiple times if he could play soccer.  So I gave in and signed him up.  Ryan and I are not big soccer fans, so we weren't sure what to expect.  He had 3 practices and 3 games.  He did pretty good at practice.  At his first game he had no idea what to do.  He wanted his own ball.  Well I realized he has never watched a soccer match, so he had no idea everyone was suppose to go after the same ball.  After this first game, we came home and watched part of a soccer match on youtube and he figured it out.  The next game he went after the ball a little more aggressive and even got knocked over.  Instead of crying, he got up and went after the ball.

Lining up his shot

Looks like a good follow through to me!

The toughest part of the night...getting your ball back

It was always a challenge to keep Kellan off of the field

It was a little sunny.

oops ran past the ball

Fast break!

Patiently waiting his turn on the sideline and his brother joined him.

Teaching Kellan about soccer?

Going for the goal...it's good!

Going to high five the coach after he scored!

Braydon had a lot of fun and I loved watching play with other kids.  Next up...football this fall and Dad is coaching!
