Here comes May

Spring in Iowa is always unpredictable...but this Spring was something I have never seen before.  The last weekend in April was Drake Relays and we had some of the most enjoyable 80 degree days.  The next weekend we had snow!  Braydon loved it!  Good thing I hadn't put the snow pants away yet (yes it is June and I still haven't put the snow pants away)!

In May we got a surprise visit from the Kansas Lundstroms.  That meant some times to hang out with the boys and Grandma Pat and Papa even came down to visit

It is always fun to have visitors!  Braydon just loves having his cousins at his house.  Although there are just a few fights over cars, they soon forget. 

Kellan and Wrigley have a special bond.  Kellan just loves that dog.  He will hug her and pet her...even if she is not interested.  He usually just sits there and takes it or licks his face until he leaves her alone.  Kellan does enjoy using Wrigley as a pillow...Wrigley not so comfortable with it, but she lets him. 

This could be why Wrigley likes Kellan so much...he is always sneaking her food!

In May we also had Mother's Day.  Saturday night we got to go to my favorite Mexican place, I had not been there forever.  Then we got to go to Snooki's for some ice cream.  It was the perfect Saturday night!  Sunday we headed to Perry to have lunch with the Grandma's.  Ryan grilled out for us and it was a gorgeous day to just be outside.  Grandma Pat, Papa, Grandma Marcia, Aunt D, and Joanne Perkins (a good family friend), were all there.  It was a very relaxing day.

After lunch we headed out to Grandpa Wink's Farm to let the boys run around for a little bit.  They had a lot of fun and Kellan just loved the freedom to go where ever he wanted!

Other than that we have been enjoying the nice weather.  Getting outside whenever we can. The boys love the playset and are always swinging, sliding and climbing!

We actually had the water snake out and the boys got to play in the water.

Well that's most of May...next up, our trip to Arkansas.  I am almost caught up!
