April Review

Well I think I will start April off with some stories!

With two little boys there is always, laughter and good stories in the air.  Braydon is quite the talker now.  Although we still struggle to understand him sometimes, he is doing great at speech and Ryan and I can usually figure out what he wants.  Braydon's humor...
 - He loves knock, knock jokes.  For about a week, all we did was tell knock, knock jokes.   A few of his favorites include...

knock, knock...who's there...banana....banana who? knock, knock...who's there, banana...banana who?  knock knock...who's there....banana....banana who?  knock knock...who's there, orange...orange who....orange you glad I didn't say banana!

Knock, knock..who's there...scooby...scooby who?...not scooby who, its scooby doo!

- Braydon always wants you to pass people when you are driving.  So the other day, I passed someone and he said ...hello and goodbye!

 - We just got a new Casey's General Store/gas station in our neighborhood.  I made the mistake of letting him get an ice cream cone the first time we went there.  He loved it!  The other day on the way home from daycare he said, mom, my tummy needs some ice cream. Can we go to Casey's?

- Another discussion on the way to daycare was about ice.  He told me that ice melts when it is hot out.  I said yes it does.  He said it does not melt when it is cold out.  I said you are correct.  Then he asked me what about when it is warm out.  I said it melts when it is warm out too.  He said "that's amazing!"

Kellan update...

Kellan just wants to be a big kid already!  Although he eats more than his 3 1/2 year old brother, doesn't mean is he is all grown up yet.

His words include:  mom, dad, dog, eat, drink, linda (the babysitter), cookie, and of course he can roar like a dinosaur.  He has said a few other things like:  papa, dad's phone, and stop.  He tries to always repeat what you say.

He loves to laugh...usually at Braydon.  He continues to climb on everything, loves taking baths, likes most food you put in front of his face and is a great dancer, especially to the theme song from Sesame Street.  He runs from wherever he is in the house to go dance to the song.

He also loves to be outside.  He likes going down the slide, playing in the sandbox, playing on the trampoline, swinging and of course scaring his parents, by trying to walk down the stairs instead of crawling down them.

Kellan loving the outdoors!

Did I mention Kellan likes to eat?  He is also extremely independent.  So we thinks he should feed himself yogurt!

Braydon on the other hand...not a big eater!

Some reading time with Dad

Kellan trying to climb up the slide!

Braydon also decided to try out his bike

Braydon wasn't too thrilled with pedaling. Ryan had to push the pedals for him.

Smiles!

Kellan already enjoys playing baseball

When Braydon was little and scare of the bath.  I tried to give Braydon a bubble bath to see if that would help. He was not impressed!  So we never tried it again.  Recently he decided  he wanted a bubble bath and he loved it!  None he asks to take baths every night.
