Thanksgiving review (a little late)

I attempted to post this back in November or early December - I promise, but for some reason it wouldn't let me put pictures up and I had to do it over again several times, but finally it is working correctly.

So here is a little flash back to one of my favorite holidays - Thanksgiving.  We started the week/weekend off with a quick visit from the Kansas Lundstroms so they could see the new house.  It was so nice out that the boys even got to play outside for a little bit.

We also got to meet the newest addition to their family, Molly.  Braydon and Molly had an exhausting time playing in the backyard.

Next up was Thanksgiving day in Perry with the Lundstroms and Noonans.  We had lots of food and fun as always.  It was so nice out that we even got to go for a walk around town, which is always nice after a big meal.

Friday Ryan and I headed to Iowa City to watch the Hawkeyes play Nebraska and lose a game, they could have won!  It was a tough way to end the season.  Plus the temperature had dropped drastically.  But Friday night we headed to the lighted parade in downtown Perry.  Braydon loved it!

After the parade you get the chance to go see Santa Claus and have hot chocolate and cookies.  Of course we were up for this.  I wasn't sure what Braydon would do, but of course, he ran right up to Santa and sat on his lap!  Kellan who never cries decided he didn't like it!

Kellan gave Santa a 2nd chance though!
After that it was time for Ryan and Braydon to make some pies.  Ryan volunteered to make the pumpkin pie for the Winkelman Thanksgiving.  After a little internet googling, a trip to hy-vee and a lots of questions, the boys successfully made a delicious pumpkin and apple pie!

Braydon loves to cook!
Saturday we had Winkelman Thanksgiving.  Of course more food and fun and some great photo opportunities!

Another successful Thanksgiving in the books!
