birthdays, birthdays, birthdays!

After we got through the holidays, it was birthday season!  The first weekend in January we had Noonan Family Christmas in Cedar Rapids.  It was a good day of just relaxing, eating, and catching up with everyone.  It was also going to be Ray's birthday in a few days, so we got to have cake!  As soon as Braydon saw the cake, he sat right up to the table next to the cake and was ready to "help" blow out the candles.  As soon as they were lit, he went to work.  He did great.  Except for the last 2 were really tough.  He was trying so hard, we were worried he was going to hurt himself.  I have some great video (that I can't get to upload for some reason), but hopefully I will get it posted soon.  Here is is with Great Uncle Ray's cake.
Next on the list was Great Grandpa Wink's 89th birthday.  So we headed out to the farm for some more cake and ice cream.  Braydon was starting to get the hang of this birthday thing and thinks the cakes are really fun.  He also liked playing with the balloons and of course everyone HAD to wear a birthday party hat.

He sat at the table patiently waiting to blow the candles out.  He was being soooo good at waiting for us to tell him it was okay.  So we started to sing happy birthday and before the song was over, Grandpa Wink had already blown them out!

The last birthday we celebrated was Grandpa Lundstrom's.  We went out to lunch and had a delicious ice cream dessert!
