Hawaiin shirt day and the State Fair

One Saturday morning, the Ibens called us and asked if we wanted to go to the Iowa State Fair with them.  I am not the biggest fair person and was not feeling 100%, but we decided to go anyways.  It ended up being a great day.  The weather was perfect and we got to see all we needed to see at the Fair.  Braydon definitely liked people watching.  He also got to go down the big slide with his dad!

He thought the slide was awesome.  Then we had to do another fair tradition, the Y'Ole Mill.  So we loaded up in the boat and by the end of it realized how boring and pointless the ride was.  You got into a boat and then it was blacked out and you couldn't see anything.

But Braydon didn't seem to mind.  He still enjoyed it.

I just loved these following pictures - so I wanted to share them.  I declared hawaiian shirt day at the babysitters the other day.  He looked so grown up!
