Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was again a pretty busy week and weekend. On Wednesday, I got a surprise visit at work from the Kansas Lundstrom. It was a lot of fun to have Tyson and Charlie running around the Knapp Center floor shooting on the hoops. I think they had fun too. They boys even got a chance to play house together!

Thanksgiving day was spent at the Lundstrom household. Ryan even got the honor of cutting the turkey!

We got to see a lot of family and have a nice relaxing day of eating and chatting.

Friday we only went to one store for black friday and that was sears to buy tires. While Ryan was dealing with the salesman, Braydon and I went for a walk. Braydon said hi to everyone he saw, some people responded with a nice hi back, others just looked at him like he was crazy. That was enough shopping for us.

Friday night we headed back to Perry to go see the lighted parade. It was pretty cold outside.
After the parade, we headed to the hotel to see Santa Claus. Tyson did awesome and told Santa everything he wanted (I think next year Santa is going to have to sit on Tyson's lap)!
Then it was Braydon's turn - from the pictures you can tell he didn't enjoy it. After he screamed while sitting on his lap, he continued to avoid him the rest of the evening. He loved listening to the singers though.

Saturday was Thanksgiving with the Winkelman's and we headed out to Grandpa Wink's for more turkey. We started the morning out with Ryan learning how to bake a pumpkin pie - it was definitely a group effort and in the end we had 2 delicious pies! We had a great day of hanging out with family and what Thanksgiving is complete without a little pin the hat on the turkey!
