On Monday (December 20 - I started this post before Christmas and am now just finishing it), Braydon turned 16 months old! We celebrated by watching the Bears beat the Vikings! Can't get much better than that.
Now that Braydon turns 16 months old, he is a very active little guy. What he does:
- Tries to feed himself and is getting much better at putting the spoon in his mouth correctly
- no longer drinks out of a bottle! (thanks to dad on this one, the doctor told us the bottle had to go, so Ryan had an entire Friday off with him and suffered through the fits and held his ground, now no bottles)!
- says dad, hi, bye, mooo (this word means 3 things, milk, more and mom)!, yeah, ball (when he feels like saying it)
- can now put the ball on the tee to hit it off
- loves to tackle Dad and Mom
- likes to turn the ball popper on and let the air blow his hair back (he is going to be a great runway model)
- gives Wrigley lots of hugs!
- can blow you a kiss
- waits patiently for me to put his big puffy coat on to go outside
- gives hugs
- knows who dad, mom and wrigley are
- likes to look at the picture on the camera after you take his picture
- will sit in his chair when it is time to put his shoes on
- usually will go get a diaper for you (the last couple of times he will even lay on the ground and wait for you - hopefully this lasts)
- knows what a bath is - runs into the bathroom and waits by the side of the tub for you to fill it up with water
- will put carton of milk away after you pour him a glass.
He learns something new every day. He is pretty excited for Christmas and to see lots of family and friends.
Again all of these things are done when he wants to!
