Christmas

This might be difficult to follow on a timeline, but I will do the best I can.  It is not easy to move pictures around on here, so these are not in chronological order!  Christmas Day afternoon we headed to Perry for Christmas with the Lundstroms.  It was a little different this year because my brother Andy and his family were not there.  We missed having them there, but understand they couldn't make it work.  The boys were overwhelmed with all the fun stuff they got!  They both enjoyed ripping into presents!

The weekend after Christmas we had some extended family Christmas Partys.  Saturday we headed to Cedar Rapids to have Noonan Christmas at Uncle Rays.  We had a good time, but for some reason I never got my camera out.  It was complete with a post Christmas meal walk and a small snow ball fight!

Sunday we had another Christmas with the Winkelmans.  I did remember my camera this time and it was good to see everyone!

Now to back up before Christmas.  Christmas Eve Day the boys and I headed to Perry for some cookie making with Grandma Pat.  Ryan has to work, so we headed to Perry that morning without him.  Braydon and Tyson started out doing a great job...eventually Kellan joined the party and turned out to be the best cookie maker!   Braydon and Tyson had a small disagreement.  Tyson said that the "J" cookie cutter was for Joel and Braydon said it was a candy cane! Every time one of them used it they made it a point to tease the other one...it was fairly amusing.

At Thanksgiving I asked Charlie what he wanted for Christmas...he said a Miami heat basketball...so that's what he got and so did Tyson.  Usually I don't allow anyone to open Christmas presents early, but we decided Tyson and Charlie could open one of their presents early.  They loved them!  They carried them around with them the entire day.  Kellan even tried to steal it a few times, with no success.

Charlie likes his basketball too
Every year Aunt Kristen gets matching PJs for the Lundstrom cousins.  Since we were not going to be there Christmas Eve night, we opened them during the day on Christmas Eve.  Immediately the boys starting taking their clothes off, so we let them put their PJs on at noon on Christmas Eve!  Kellan - who doesn't like his clothes changed even wanted his put on immediately.

Christmas Eve afternoon we headed back home.  Kellan took a nap and Braydon wanted to go to church with Aunt D and Marcia.  So I worked on getting the house cleaned up since we were hosting Christmas Eve dinner with the Murphys.

We had a great meal with Jeff, Renae, Great Grandma Dar, Grandma Marcia, Aunt D, and our friend Jack.  The boys even got to open a few gifts.

Christmas morning, Braydon was pretty excited.  He patiently waited in bed to see what Santa brought.  He got a glow pet and pop the pig game.  Kellan got a Thomas train and his baby bear book(Braydon told Santa that's what Kellan wanted).

Of course there were lots more gifts.  Braydon would hand out presents one by one and say Merry Christmas each time he gave a present to someone.  When it was Braydon's turn to open a present, he said..."isn't anyone going to wish me a Merry Christmas?"

What a great holiday.  Filled with family, fun and more toys then we will ever have room for!  Thank you everyone for such a great time.  For some reason, it always goes by too fast!
