Easter

As always are Easter weekend is busy, but a great chance to see lots of family.  On Saturday we headed to Perry in the morning and to participate in the city Easter egg hunt.  I thought the boys would love it.  Braydon was so excited with his basket and everything.  They spread a ton of candy everywhere and then they have a few eggs throughout.  Braydon picked up the first egg he saw and then a piece of candy.  I asked him if you wanted to pick up more candy and he said no, he only wants to pick up eggs.  Well those were all gone, so he was done.  Kellan refused to even be put on the ground.  Grandma Pat had to hold him the entire time.

After Perry we headed to Auburn to Aunt Judy and Uncle Johns house.  Braydon and Kellan had a lot of fun playing with all the Ferneding kids!

After a great Easter meal we headed back to Perry and stopped at Grandma Marcia's to get the boys' Easter baskets.  It was so nice out that we just spent some time running around outside and playing with sidewalk chalk.

Easter morning...Kellan and I got up before everyone else so we enjoyed some time going through the eggs.  The Easter bunny left eggs all around the house.  When Braydon woke up he asked, did the Easter bunny come...I said yes.  He asked is he still here?  I said no, we was disappointed.  He started by picking the eggs up on the stairs.  The eggs had little graham cracker rabbits, fruit snacks or jelly beans in them.  Braydon would eat the fruit snacks, give his mom the jelly beans to eat, and Braydon would get one rabbit and give the other one to his brother.

Next up was a trip to Cedar Rapids to visit the Noonans.  For some reason I didn't take any pictures there, but we had a great time seeing everyone and Braydon even did some kite flying!

Easter was fun as always. I love Braydon asking questions.  He stumped me this year with ... is the Easter Bunny a girl or a boy?  I went with boy, not sure though.  Happy belated Easter
