That's right...I am going to get the Halloween post done BEFORE Thanksgiving! Our Fall has seemed quite busy, but luckily we were able to get the the pumpkin patch, one hour before it closed for the season.

| Braydon playing in the corn pit |
 |
| Riding on the wagon...he said, look a tractor like Grandma Pat! |
 |
| All the boys! |
 |
| They added a corn maze - Braydon was on the run |
 |
| The corn maze had got knocked down by a storm...which made it a pretty easy for Ryan & I - Ryan taking Braydon the long way! |
After the maze it was time to try and find some pumpkins. Needless to say, when you show up on the last day of pumpkin season, right before closing there wasn't much to choose from. But Braydon wasn't discouraged, he found the perfect one...even though it was dirty. I promised him we could wash it off at home
Of course Braydon saw the horses and decided he needed to go for a ride.

| Kellan was impressed! |
Finally we had to see how Braydon measured up from the previous year.

Once we got home, it was time to carve the pumpkins. I thought Braydon would like scooping out the insides this year, but he really wasn't to interested in that part. He did try to do it with a spoon though, but absolutely no hands.

| Braydon got the markers out and went to work designing the faces! |
I asked Braydon what shapes to use and he helped me out - not too shabby!
On the Tuesday before Halloween we headed to Perry for some trick or treating on the streets of downtown. All the local businesses hand out candy. And plus the grandparents get to help the boys trick or treat!

| Braydon the bear! |
 |
| Kellan the penguin |
 |
| Braydon special requested popcorn and Papa delivered! So he relaxed on the curb and enjoyed some popcorn! |
After Perry - we rushed back to Urbandale to trick or treat in our neighborhood. The streets were filled with people! It was awesome. Braydon loved sitting on the front step handing out candy.
After handing out candy for a little while, Braydon decided he would go to a few houses, he would say trick or treat and then thank you. Or he would growl like a bear. Some houses would ask him what he wanted, but since he doesn't really eat candy, he would always pick the skittles. I was thankful for that because I do like skittles!
He was a little nervous at first and would hold my hand when he went to the door. After I took him to a few houses, Ryan took him. He was so brave at that point, he made Ryan stay on the sidewalk while he went to the front door!
It was a really fun Halloween and I love that Braydon enjoyed it so much. I hope everyone else had a BEARY fun Halloween too!
What a fun post ~ and yes it was BEARY nice evening for us too! As always thanks for posting.
