Mother's Day was a busy day as usual, but I day I got to sleep in!! Ryan knows how important my sleep is to me, so Mother's Day is the day I get to sleep in. He even took the boys with him to the grocery store to get us some breakfast. Braydon picked out a mickey mouse card and made sure to give it to me, complete with this own version of "happy mother's day".
After a quiet morning, it was off to Perry to see the family. We had lunch with Papa, Grandma Pat, Grandma Marcia, Aunt D and my adoptive grandma, Joanne Perkins. We had a relaxing time sitting out in the sunshine and good conversation. Braydon kept us all entertained by taking our orders and delivering dessert to each person. I told him to take some cake to Joanne and he looked and at me kind of funny, but walked out on the deck, put the cake on the ground and said "here Joey!" I guess I should have explained Joanne, not Joey! (Joey is my parents dog).
Of course we had to take some pictures of the grandparents with the boys!
