Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was busy as usual. Lucky for us, this year Joel, Kristen, Tyson and Charlie were able to come back to Perry for the weekend. So Saturday morning, we headed to the Perry Easter Egg hunt. On the way to the hunt, Braydon and Ryan discussed their strategy.

While waiting for the hunt to get started, we got a few pictures with the Easter Bunny. Charlie was the most cooperative .

Then it was time for the hunt. We got each of the boys a basket. I thought they would be picking up eggs, so I got Braydon one with a few holes in it (small enough that eggs would not fall through). Once the hunt noticed, I realized it was candy and not eggs, so Braydon had a few problems getting the candy to stay in the basket. Tyson did great! Charlie found a sucker and quit and Braydon got 2 pieces of candy and a leaf!

After the hunt, it was time for us to go to Lake View to have Easter dinner with the Winkelmans. We picked up Aunt Dani and headed that way. We had a great afternoon and Braydon enjoyed playing with all the kids. Mary even brought him his own Easter basket complete with a pair of bunny ears.

Grandma Marcia also got him a few easter goodies. Dad got to show him how to swing his golf club.

Sunday morning we woke up to find the Easter Bunny had brought lots of goodies. The boys all got to participate in an Easter egg hunt in the backyard at Grandpa and Grandma's. Tyson ran around like crazy, so fast the eggs would fall out of basket. He didn't notice, so the Easter egg hunt lasted forever!

Braydon was trying so hard to find eggs, he fell over in the grass exhausted.

Then when we got home, the Easter bunny had left him a few more goodies. He loves walking around the house putting eggs in his easter basket.

He also thinks his tricycle is pretty fun. He only pedals with his right leg, so hopefully his left one will catch up soon.
